MathCracks ("we", "our" or "the application") is an educational math learning platform developed by Trawen Technologies S.L. This privacy policy describes how we collect, use, store and protect your personal information when you use our mobile application and related services.
By using MathCracks, you accept the practices described in this policy. If you disagree with any part, we recommend not using the application.

- Password: Stored encrypted (Firebase Authentication)
- Apple ID: If you use "Sign in with Apple" (anonymous identifier only)

- Completed exercises and answers
- Scores and accuracy
- Time spent on each exercise
- Current level and chapter
- Error and correction history
2.3 Gamification Data
- Coins earned and transactions
- Unlocked badges
- Consecutive day streaks
- League positions and rankings
- Selected avatar

- Handwriting strokes (stylus coordinates)
- Exercise sheet images (if you use the camera function)
2.5 Technical Data
- Device type and operating system
- Application version
- Session identifiers
3. How We Use Your Data
- App functionality: Authentication, save progress, personalize exercises
- Adaptive algorithm: Adjust difficulty based on your performance
- Gamification: Calculate coins, unlock badges, update rankings
- Handwriting recognition: Convert your handwriting to text to validate answers
- Communication: Send notifications about your progress (if enabled)
- Support: Resolve technical issues and answer inquiries
- Improvements: Analyze usage patterns to improve the application
4. Third-Party Services
We share data with the following providers for app functionality:
Firebase (Google)
User authentication and secure credential storage.

Optical character recognition (OCR) for mathematical writing. We only process exercise images, without personally identifiable data.

- Exercise images: 30 days after processing
- Writing strokes: 7 days after processing
When you delete your account, all your personal data is permanently deleted within a maximum of 30 days.

We implement security measures to protect your information:
- SSL/TLS encryption in all communications
- Passwords hashed with secure algorithms
- Authentication tokens with expiration
- Restricted database access
- Servers in certified data centers

You have the following rights over your personal data:

8. Minors
MathCracks is designed for students of all ages. For users under 16 years old:
- We require parental/guardian consent to create an account
- Parents can request access or deletion of their children's data
- We do not show targeted advertising to minors
- We do not sell minors' data to third parties
If you are a parent/guardian and believe your child has provided data without your consent, contact us immediately.
9. Changes to this Policy
We may update this policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes through a notice in the application or by email. The "last updated" date at the beginning indicates when it was last modified.
